Hello, I'm Emma

I’m Emma, a Service and User Experience Designer on a mission to optimize current and future generations’ digital experiences through design.

 

With a background in Business studies, I was able to develop applicable skills like critical thinking, teamwork, and intercultural communication. My prominent interest in technology, innovation, and marketing-oriented classes made me realize the value of building a desirable product, prioritizing customer needs, and keeping the business goals aligned.

 

In 2018, I got a first glimpse into the design world by completing a summer internship at Accenture Interactive. Working jointly with programmers, project managers, and designers made me learn about UX and human-centered design. After this experience, I knew that I wanted to participate in turning ideas into real, meaningful solutions. I love that UX stands at the core of analysis and creativity. It leaves room for thinking out of the box while following a process where we learn from people and create for the people.

 

In 2021, after some work experience in the sector of consulting and technology, I decided to specialize myself. I pursued a Masters's degree in User Experience Psychology at Universita Cattolica & Politecnico in Milan.  Studying this master's offered me a holistic view of the entire UX design process and how to turn psychological dimensions into design elements. The learning by doing approach of this course, along with its theoretical bases enabled me to merge academic thinking with practical solutions taking into account real-life cases and relevant market trends.

In 2022 I joined Logotel, an Independent Design company based in Milan as a Service Designer. During the past 2 years, I have been working for clients in various industries (automotive, luxury, travel, non profit, etc) on projects that could range from the optimization of online services, the creation of engagement and communication plan, the design and execution of events, innovative workshops and training formats, the building of a brand new websites etc.

Each day I am learning more about the world of Service design and UX to become a complete and conscious designer.
